Everything you’ll need:

  • Ring Pop 20 Ct
  • Cardboard
  • Scissors
  • Brown and Red Construction Paper
  • Glue Sticks
  • Googly Eyes
  • Black Marker
  • Child-Safe Paint In Various Colors
  • Exacto Knife

Here are the easy steps:

Step 1: Free-hand sketch the outline of your reindeer head and antlers on a piece of cardboard (the bigger the cardboard the better!). Then carefully cut-out your cardboard reindeer shape. Parents, if you have teeny little ones, they may need some parent help with this step.

Step 2: Grab the construction paper. On the brown paper draw antlers, similar in size to the antlers of your cardboard cut-out. On the red paper draw a circle for your reindeer’s red nose! Then cut-out both antlers and red nose. Parents, you can pre-draw these in advance, and set them on the table for your kids to cut-out.

Step 3: Glue the construction paper antlers and nose in place on the cardboard.

Step 4: Next, glue on the googly eyes to complete your reindeer!

Step 5: Add a smile! Using the black marker draw a smile on your reindeer.

Step 6: Now it’s time to get a little messy! To add holiday lights to your reindeer’s antlers get out the child-safe paint. Let your kids dip their fingers into the paint to create holiday light “dots” on the antlers. Let the paint dry as you and your kids wash-up.

Step 7: Parents, this next stop is for you. Once the paint has dried, carefully cut an “X” on the antlers where you and your kids would like to insert a Ring Pop lollipop, creating real “holiday light bulbs” on your reindeer’s antlers.

Step 8: Parents, follow-up by cutting an “X’ on the nose, so you can make your reindeer into a red-nosed reindeer!

Step 9: Now it’s time to get your little ones back into the fun. Unwrap some fresh Ring Pop lollipops, and push the ring part through the X’s you’ve cut. The rings should stay in place on their own, no glue needed!

Then enjoy your cute and decked out reindeer!
And please remember, while these Ring Pop Reindeers are super sweet, they’re not for eating! Make sure your kids and family pop open a fresh one, so they can enjoy a Ring Pop while enjoying this adorable decor!
